AccuRadio app for Android
This version of our app contains features familiar to our Android users, such as access to your Favorites and History while logged in. Five-Star Radio is now also available for logged-in mobile users who have unlocked their Five-Star channel.
Here some answers to common questions about using this app.
Close player / Stop the music
We removed the "Close player" function because it is no longer necessary. You can pause the currently playing channel to stop music from playing. The app can be put in the background if you'd like to resume listening later. It can be dismissed by tapping "Menu" (the square button on your device) and swiping either right or up, depending on your device.
Five-Star Radio is available on Android mobile devices!
As long as you
- are logged in, and
- have rated at least 20 songs
you'll be able to listen to your very own Five Star Radio. Be sure to check out the official Five Star FAQ on our website for more information.
When you're logged in, your Five Star channel will always appear at the top of your Favorites. You'll be able to see it on your Home screen and also under the Favorites tab.
Access Desktop Version of AccuRadio.com on Android
There are a few account functions, such as updating your email address or password, which are currently not available through our mobile apps. On an Android device, it is possible to access the desktop version of our website instead. Here's how:
1 Open your device's web browser. Go to www.AccuRadio.com. Tap the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser.
2 Select "Request desktop site" from the drop-down menu.
3 Log in to your account.
4 Once you have logged in, tap the "My Account" link in the upper right to open the Settings menu. Select "Account settings".
5 You should now be able to update your account.
